The DYPALL Network will host a Multiplier Event for the European Project “SMART Youth Centre – Supporting Mobility Activities Running through Tech”, which is funded by the Erasmus + Programme of the EU for Youth, under Key Action 2, Strategic Cooperation, via the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation (INEDIVIM).
The team of “SMART Youth Center” is inviting youth workers, youth trainers, trainers of trainers, administrative staff of education and training, who seek innovation and digital evolution in their work, policymakers, whose interest focuses on the need to transform education methods, officials from the sectors of Education and Youth, Representatives of Civil Society, press media and companies engaging with digital tools development, as well as young people to the Multiplier Event that will take place on the 13th of December 2023 at the offices of the Lisbon Youth Centre (Rua de Moscavide 4.71.01|1998-011, Lisbon, Portugal) at 6.00 p.m.
During the event, you will get the chance to get to know the Project, the importance of Digital tools and methods for the innovation and enhancement of youth work, and the developed results, as well as interact and discuss the constantly rising interest in Digital Youth Work, and the necessary skills for youth workers!
About the project
SMART Youth Centre – Supporting Mobility Activities Running through Tech is a 24-month Strategic Cooperation (Key Action 2 – KA2) about Digital Youth Work (DYW). More specifically, the Project aims to support and empower youth workers by developing their digital skills and competencies to develop their digital activities for youth, thus, contributing to the youth workers’ professional development and evolvement.
The aforementioned will be achieved through the various stages of the Project which include the training of the participating youth workers through MOOC (Mass Open Online Courses), the development of a VR Application, and a pilot application by the participants to implement their own digital activities, and lastly, the development of a Digital Toolbox with useful tools and methods regarding DYW.
